some parts of england cops have cracked down and of course it will never be as good as it used to be... you could always go abroad

the parties i go to are much smaller than 15 years ago but still a ton of fun and full of people who have learned from the last 20+ years of putting on parties that big does not equal quality... small yet perfectly formed all the way

am from lincolnshire area, yes i am willing to travell, but not 100s of miles for sumthing which could end up in being closed by the police, why dont we just get PEL and do things within the law, but also keep it as near the scene as possiable ?

I have lived in both the the north and south and think the scene is much more aboveground up north, get yourself down the local techno nights and well ... follow your nose :)

some of us have experience of using PEL and TEN and probably will do so again

it's a massive amount of work for no money though. if you don't believe me, do it yourself

I reckon there is parties in most counties going on this weekend, thing is no-body's gonna advertise it on the web because thats the quickist way to get it shut down.

Low key, word of mouth, thats the way we have to do things these days. Unfortunate as it is.

the free party scene, personally i find a bit nieve boring and down right rude sometimes, i do want to listen to good music in a nice venue, but right now every free party ive been to for the last coupla months have been s*** there are good ones out there, but they do take a bit of finding mate ;)

I go to a good party nearly every week. Sometimes the partys are shit but normally we know that before we go and only go because we feel the need to go out every weekend.

Thats the risk you take going to a free party im afraid mate as they are'nt legal, if you want to go to something thats not gonna get shut down go to a club, even then your not guaranteed it wont get shut :hopeless:

Also you''ll have to deal with bouncers/piss heads and general idiots... some can be alright tho
