Amateur speaker building PLEASE HELP

me an a mate are determined to start putting on nights up in sheffield in the next year or two. we planning on starting with club nights to make a name but i also want to start building a rig. were planning on investing in a couple of mackies to give it a kick start but im hoping to build my own speakers as well. the problem is i have no experiance in speaker building.

are there any easy to follow step by step guides i could use just to get me started? any help would be much appreciated

i only moved to sheffield last year and ive heard theres a pretty good field / industrial rave scene but haven met the right people yet. does anyone know of any parties happening there in the next couple months?

i could be wrong but shouldnt they be called cab plans as the speakers are the actual cones in the wooden boxes, or am i just being a twat

They are plans of the speakers as a whole....both cabinet and preferred drivers.

Be sure to let us know when these club nights start goin down.:wink: Yeh I'd probably use speakerplans n all. Didn't really use it that much wen I were buildin our boxes tho but thats coz I kept forgettin about it!

nah didna, ive been in london for a while and im not back in shef for good until sept.

are there any other sheffield parties coming soon though??
