just found some speaker in a skip one is a sony with impedance 8, so can i jam more than one speaker into the output of my amp, which says no less than 8 impendace... or do i risk blowing that channel or reducing the life span of it.
the other 2 speakers i skipped are aiwas model sx-navh1200, but they've got impedance of 6. same question, can i jam them into my technics amp as well with out effecting the quality and life expectancy of the amp. Only down side with the technics amp is it has 2 out puts for each channel. So can i take 4 cables from the amp and jam them into the 2 speaker ports at thee back of the aiwas?
hope that makes some kind of sense.

Its not worth it tbh. Hifi kit is designed not to be linked it will sound shite and trash your amp very quickly.

you can buy those speaker adapter things were you plug it into one channel and it then splits it into 2 channels if you get what i mean so you should be able to have 4 speakers into a 2 channel mixer. or do you think that will still ruin the amp. I thought it would just mean that it would just split the output between the 4 speakers instead of the 2 so id just have to crank the amp up higher? can someone tell me if this sounds right or not...

I wouldnt bother with 6 ohm impedance speakers - stick to 8 ohm ones unless you want to damage the amp.

Do what AHC says - link them in series... Much safer for the amp... (Will sound better too generally  )
