Three of the biggest US internet service providers have agreed to block access to bulletin boards and websites that carry images of child sex abuse.

The firms - Verizon, Sprint and Time Warner Cable - will also provide more than $1m (£500,000) to fund efforts to remove child sex sites.

im pretty sure this is a good thing isnt it? freedom of speech and all that, but not for this sort of shit. Although i suppose at least they can sort of monitor what goes on while it is on the internet. so if they remove it completely it may just push it further underground... who knows.
