Illegal Parties and raves!

Please please please somone help me!!,

I have just moved to south London and I am desperate to get in to the rave and party scene down here.

I have all the energy but no idea who to ask or where to go and its doing my head in!

TBH illegal raves in the capital can be a bit chancy (gangs etc).... you would need to know the right parties and the right people simply to be safe - its not a problem with cops but the scum what prey on certain ravers especially those who aren't "locals" or are a bit naive.

however there are loads of decent underground events with all the free party DJ's right on your doorstep. Look in our Events sub forum, they are all there.

as you normally have to pay a fiver to get into a London warehouse party anyway these "legit underground" ones seem well worth it to me..

Go to one, and make some new friends and you'd probably find out about the better unlicensed events anyway... :wink:

I'm in the same situation as you are, I'm not even british so you can imagine, but I live in south london too. If you want we can meet and go together. I just came from Italy and I think I'm gonna stay here for a long long time, and eager to go to parties as well. It's about a month I'm here right now and I managed to go to a few on my own, it was great and I was lucky enough to meet very nice people, but you know in the end it's how you feel inside that attract nice or bad people.

if you want give a buzz and we can meet, as you prefer. I suggest you also to go to Camden town market for party infos and ask the guy over the tekno stand, he always knows something about it.

well I'm in Battersea JonnyQuest, it is not so south maybe, but not even central. Well, yes, evrybody told me that, and I knew every time I came that I had to keep my eyes open, I wasn't in a playground, but I still believe that what you feel inside can influence the sorrounding. Anyway thank very much for reminding me about it, it's never enough.
