Its the last thing I need every fucking summer afternoon to hear that when all i want is to enjoy a nice beverage and a spliff. I must buy a portable cd player!
Neighbours suck! especially when they have kids who use ur window as a target for firing their water guns! burghhh!!

For the record hardcore is the nips however your neighbours ain't being fair really. I suggest you do get a cd player and play some music that'll really annoy them. Sometimes giving someone a taste of their own medicine works wonders. Or triggers a war, good luck. :weee:

TBH I'd far rather have neighbours into some form of dance music (even if its something which isn't your personal favourite), than those what are totally anti music/drugs/fun and are maybe liable to whinge or grass you up when you decide to have friends round or a party..

those tunes are rubbish indeed but maybe its a definite tradeoff for your neighbours tolerance

that said I suspect a lot of people listen to this shite (which is clearly popular enough to make the producers money in a very difficult market for pop music) because they were once party people or wanted to become so, and the cheese is seen as an antidote to what can be a fucking mundane boring life, or they are just naive

For instance one of my friends young housemates listens to Cascada as its his first time away from home and that music is "freedom to listen to loud music", and he thinks the blonde German bird is fit).

also many young couples have started families too early so kids etc take up all the time and energy rather than having their finger on the pulse of the music underground - they have also either moved back into or stayed with a crowd what drinks rather than consumes drugs as its "safer/less hassle"

perhaps have a friendly word about the kids if their behaviour is really out of order, and maybe these people only listen to "worse" music as they don't know where to get better stuff?

at least you can blaze a spliff in the garden without neighbours calling 999 or surreptitiously reporting you and your mates to crimestoppers from behind net curtains.. freedom and tolerance works both ways

We're having a mare with our neighbour at the mo

loud music I think of the likes of 'boys to men' and 'whitney' of whom she stands in her garden singing at the top of her voice

if she's not singing she rowing with whoever is in her house or who she can get on the phone

the last conversation I had the pleasure of listening tothis afternoon involved 'her not being nasty as she washes herself every night and isnt dirty' and that she 'dont do crack......'

and to top it all on sat she got table and chairs and 2 sun loungers and put them right next to our fence, where our back door opens so she can either hear everything we say and visa versa,

we were indirectly told its 'her fucking garden and she can do and say wht the fuck she wants to' whilst being told to 'shut the fuck up' and 'I''m not deaf so stop fucking shouting at me' by whoever was in her house

we now have a total of 11 bottles of whiskey in our garden and we are only able to guess where it comes from.....

You need to get dirty with these neighbours. Heres an idea. Go to a local pet shop and buy a good few crickets (Ones that lizards eat) Buy a decent amount and when your horrible neighbours go out pour the crickets through the letterbox. This will severely annoy the fuck out of em and drive em absolutely crazy! keep doing little tricks like this to them and they'll soon fuck off. Don't get caught tho.

like you thinking batman

she wont leave though,

we have had worse before her and were so glad to see them go.....

somehow she's got 3 bed house when its only her and her daughter living there, dont know how she wangled that AFAIK there should be a 'family' (i.e more kids) making use of the rooms availiable,
as my mate and her parents were kicked out of their house after 2 of their adult kids moved out and were forced to move to a pokey flat instead.

Im sorry guys but non of you are having it as bad as me at the moment. My neighbour is a little old lady who I have known nearly all my life, unfortunately she is going a bit crazy. She keeps phoning the old bill on me and accusing me of doing crazy things. So far I have apparently broken into her house several times without any signs of forced entry, I have taken the mattress off her bed and then put it back again, I have also stolen her jewellery although she doesn’t know what and removed the door handles to her cupboard ohh and she thinks im a little boy, or that’s what she tells the police. Anyway its not that bad as the police know her problem and know I haven’t done any of this weird stuff its just the problem of the police always coming round my house to check up on things, “ right we will pop round some evening next week” they could at least tell me when. that kind of threat can really put you off your usual weekend of fun.

this is sadly a very common medical problem, and TBH the cops and your Social services / NHS PCT will probably have her on file for her own safety.

I expect what is doubly harrowing is if you knew the woman from a kid as its harsh to see her deteriorate like that

the other problem is cops are smarter these days.

If they have been in your house even if you hide the bong etc, they will notice stuff like "hippy/psychedelic" posters or rave CD's or anything what may look like "soft intelligence" of involvement in drug culture (there's another thread on here about how some ex-ravers my age group are now coppers!)

It may be worth calling Social Services for your area, ask for Adult and Community Care and say you are concerned about her.

Tell them exactly what happened and about the cops etc as they can check with them on the incident logs., it may be good for her as perhaps they can get her a carer - even if she just gets a few hours visits this may stop her getting so depressed/paranoid (and probably because she is watching crime films and news on the idiot-box and thinking the area is far worse than it is.). maybe if she is befriended by a female carer (usually from age 20s-40s) that often stops a lot of the paranoia/false allegations...

Dont worry we are already on to it, the only problem is her family are refusing to believe she has a problem which is pretty sad for her as it makes it harder for her to get help but there is a community support officer who comes round to visit her. dementia is a terrible thing.

My sympathies to you as I exactly can understand where your coming from, and even worse with the threat of the old bill 'popping in'

my aunt - who lives around the corner to us is doing similar,
we've had to go out searching for her when shes went wandering, she was trying to let herself into our house as she thought she lived here, phoning me at all hours as she was confused or thought it was day time when it was 2 - 3 am, and is always turning her gas on so we've had to have it disconnected.
the 'problem' wasnt her - but her 'daughter' who was claiming she was doing it on purpose, and she wasnt unwell.

The minute she realised it was - after we had been looking after her and staying over night when she was distressed eyc for nearly 2 years without her seeing her,
she got involved (inheritance anyone?? )

she now has carers morning and night and is in a 'day centre' and has turned into a little old lady whereas before she was 'made up', high heels, hair done, independant and with it (she's only in her early 70's) - its a devestating illness :hopeless:
