Well in the summer me and few mates are heading down to Brighton for GayPride. My mate who lives there went to it last year and said the parties are immense! Perfect place to have a BBQ! :love:

east coast would be good - as its an area many are familiar with and many regular users are closest too - there are bits away from the main "tourist trap" areas that would be perfect for this sort of get together

provided people aren't bringing a massive stack it is all perfectly legal and above board..

you will need to keep a close watch on the weather, as it is heavily influenced here by the North Sea winds often making it colder than you think

I'm amazed at people are moaning at this minor appearance of summer, particularly as the forecasts are showing a drop in temperature and rain by the weekend (although its not that cold and this is at least good for the plants/environment etc)

Can't believe the weather today. On this fine bank holiday it's decided to piss down. It looks really really bleak out there and i don't want to go out in it. What sucks as well it's my mates birthday and she was gonna have a BBQ. I don't think that's gonna happen today!!! :hopeless:

What annoyed me more is the drop in temperature - I have had to put the heating back on!

At least the temperature rises during the week. Although the rain may turn outdoor events into a washout, it is good for plants/nature and fills up the reservoirs (Anglian water area is notoriously dry).

There may be some storms/floods in some areas though... this weather is more like Asian countries though, for the last 5-6 years it seems Britain has had a monsoon season..

The only time the weather bothers me is if i've been up all night. Anyone feel like this as well? When you've had a mad session and have completely fucked yourself, what you do the next day depends on that morning weather. If it's sunny then sweet lets carry on and get more beer/drugs/hookers/leprechauns/chinesefightingmidgets but if it's as miserable as a naked Jade Goody, then your day's fucked because you just will not wanna venture outside. Sober i don't care what the weathers like but fucked, nah it has to be sun otherwise i always feel bathing with a toaster. :love:

Totally counter productive - the world getting warmer means the UK will get colder (as the gulf stream shuts down).... What we need to do is find a way to make the world nice and cold - that way all the other countries get colder, while we get warmer :wink:.

Bet plenty of brits would still complain about it though (reckon that's one of our national hobbies eh? Don't matter if it's good weather or bad weather, it's never the RIGHT weather LOL...:laugh_at:).

This weather is so nice. went for a nice long bike ride down the reservoir on sat and sunday, found this place, which was a s.s.s.i, so nice, could walk down this wooded valley and follow the river and splash around in all these waterfalls and pools. Went down there on sunday as well, think im gonna go camping down there in a couple weeks. such a nice spot cant belive ive only just found it! cant belive that there was some guy at my work this morning going on about having a sweat on over the weekend and it being horrible and too hot.. i mean wtf? :you_crazy:
