Just wondering what everybodys main source of news is. I check BBC website occasionally, also www.indymedia.org.uk and www.schnews.org.uk for the kind of take on things I mostly agree with.

In terms of newspapers I favour the independant generally, the guardian is alrite, it's a bit "champagne socialist" though.

usually read the BBC, some bits of the Grauniad (not the pretentious arty crap, only the home news/crime/world news), the local news sites, the emergency services press releases and various foreign news sites as well.

Also a lot of tech news sites.

I don't trust any of them though until I've checked something with multiple sources.

Also I find "progressive" media such as indymedia to often be spun as much as the right wing, and that "good news" is invariably spin of some sort (or a corporate sales pitch) apart from animal stories (as there is usually a verifiable picture of the relevant creature).
