I think most people hate them because they are self-righteous twats (Bono and Geldoff) rather than because of their music.

I enjoy the Beatles just like most other people, but for some reason I get the feeling Paul McClartney is a wanker.

I'm basing this on little more than a gut feeling and his manner because I don't really know much about him beyond the beatles. So I'm being a bit out of order really. Although I tend to trust gut feelings.
