there seems nothing on the google box
I'm watching sky 3, and its titled 'oaps on asbos'
with 'roger' who is obsessed with bad parking down his road, shouting at people, taking photos of his neighbours parking / cars, basically harrassing his the fuck out of them etc.....
another of 2 neighbours
'Tommy' who smokes his tabs and seems to be in a wheel chair with no legs,
'waring' for 3 years winding each other up
playing 'kylie', other 'music' and singing at age 83
I aspire to this :laugh_at:

apparently most of the ASBOs handed out in Norfolk Constabulary area go to over 60s
Also Norwich prison is unique in having an OAP wing, a mixture of lifers and pensioners who have committed their first imprisonable offence over age 60 (usually anti-social behaviour or serious domestic violence)
OAPs can be quite dangerous if they get angry and bitter (especially those who are terminally ill but still active/mobile and with physical strength) they have nothing really to lose if they go HMP (they are gonna die soon anyway) and plenty of grudges/scores to settle.
in the USA some right-wing religious groups were found by the FBI to be encouraging elderly people with terminal illnesses to do stuff like shoot up abortion clinics or other liberal places - they said "it will get you to heaven quicker" :hopeless:

I think also it has a lot to do with retirement,
alot of older people have had responsible jobs / roles and when they retire some can loose their identity left 'sitting at home' depressed with no formal routeen - as they've been brought up with strong work ethic that has left some with little else in their lives....
maybe children moved away / spouse deceased / divorced
and they then take on roles of (for example) parking monitor like the one in the program and go OTT
similar thing happened to a guy I know who ended up really really depressed shortly after he retired, and he had ECT, which did him so much good he returned to work there as the lead nurse part time (he was a nurse before he retired)
