Considering bleaching me dreads but not sure if it will damage them and if chlorine will affect them!

Anyone bleached there dreds on ere?

I went to a mates 30th birthday do last saturday then to Karma All Stars at Red House but they played cheese most of the time and it did my head in so I left! Theres not much decent music nights on at the mo...

Yes, however dying or bleaching the hair is easier before its dreaded and the dying and bleaching process will leave the hair a bit dryer and more fried which will make it dread faster. If you dye or bleach it after its dreaded wait until the hair is good and locked, about 10 to 12 weeks. Wash out all the wax with hot water so the color will stick. Don't over bleach it because the dreads can get dry and brittle and possibly break off.

if you have dark hair atm you should really put a pre lightner on it first before dying them.

I'm sure you could just pop in somewhere / phone and ask

My hair goes all different colours when I do it (white / orange/ yellow) but its ok as I then put another colour on top / conditioning treatments etc,

so be careful honey as from your photos they're lovely and long
