Dodgy happenings going on in Jersey at the moment. Be careful what you say when over there cos the eyes of the world are on Jersey so it might make people a bit wary of newcomers. If you don't know what i'm on about have a look on the news later.

On a lighter note, I'd like to see all the old fortifications that are dotted around the island. Might be worth a look :love:

my nan used to live in gurnsey, i used to go there and jersey loads as a kid. Gurnseys a really nice island, cant remember any specific things to go and look at.. the beaches are nice, might be a bit cold now tho.

yeah we have do descale the shite of the cliffs , old weeds branches anything thats in our way,
we had to on that job fix rolls of metal to the cliffs, after getting rid of the loose rocks, thats the only way we can malke the rock face safe, we drill large 5 meters into cliff, place an anchor point in there,do that all over the cliff , so we can then attach the metal wire that will secure everything

I've been trying to work out for a few years why I am scared of heights, or was it just scared of falling (and if there is a difference!!!)
so i got into climbing up tall trees buildings chimney stacks , some right scared me others didn't, but my best friend has been a rope access technician for around 12yrs of the best in the country, so he got me into it , the gear you wear is all tested before its sent out and renewed every 6mts, the ropes you have to have two, hold 5ton each , so your kit gives you more balls so to say lol
