hello .wonder if any 1 can help me.im trying to find a cracked version of windows xp pro.and also need a program to wipe clean an old harddrive/basically i got a pc from my mate from college which was part of a network.it has an admin password wat i didnt knw.i was told to format it.i tried doin this using a windows 98 bootdisk with no luck.think i mite of done a few things that i shouldnt of .if any 1 can help pls reply thanks:cry:

Boot in safe mode, that should get you past the admin password. Its the log in password, yeah? Not a BIOS password?

Best not to talk about cracked warez type stuff here though. Not sure on the specific rules, but I know that generally It can get forums in trouble :)

Also, you can format easily if you have a working computer. Just plug in the new HD to the old system, and boot up. Then in my computer right click the new HD and format. I suggest the long version of the formatting.

Yes, thanks for pointing that out, Dom. Talking about it is not too bad, but please do not point anyone in the direction of illegal software or put up any links.

It's not a problem mate, nobody linked you up. Just be wary about asking for cracked software on internet forums because most places will not allow it.

it`s not that dodgy mate.iv tried a few things on there like the free phone top ups ..it works
i tried the sky trick..it worked..
thought others mite be interested.obviously not. nevermind im sure some 1 mite get something from it
