Anyone ever been to any of these? I went to a Fit Farm for 7 days last week, camr back today. It was Intense. More than I thought. Very hard work, but well worth it.

We went all over Devon, hiking across Ex Moor, and running around the hills. I think in 7 Days we ran 6 miles, and walked/ran 35 miles. Whilst doing an average of 6 hours of circuit training through out the day. Circuit training Is spending 5 mins on different exercise stations, using different muscles for each one, incase you didnt know :)

We also had some nurtition workshops. Learnt ALOT about this. My eyes have been opened. I was not aware of some of the effects simple things have in out lives, and how much badness we feed our body. Unbeleiveable. I would love to type an essay here, but tbh, I think it would be hard to ever convert anyone to understand what I was taught, without them actually getting taught it too. Its one of those things that you have to want to learn about, because stubborness and close mindedness is a big factor in the teaching of this... I would even have dismissed or avoided the subject a few years ago, just so I could have the easy way out: ignorance...

Anyway. Has anyone ever done one? I found the results amazing. Although I wasnt fit, I wasnt overweight, but I did loose an Inch from my wast and hips, and gained loads of muscle tone in just a week. I can control alot more advanced exeercises too now, by controling the right muscles. Dont get me wrong though, it took alot of effort. By day 2 I was ready to pack it in, so Im very glad I stuck it out.

Would be nice to hear of any other experiences. It'd also be nice If I could convince anyone else to get on one of these, or even just see a nutritionist. It will change your life If you listen and want to help yourself :)

I like the idea of doing something like this -

even looked up the rambelers asc for weekends away but decided I was too young to join them :laugh_at:
love going to the gym etc but only thing is I've no one to go with -

Mr Tank likes our sofa, fags and beer too much  think he'd die walking up a hill....

how did you find it?

I've signed up to a meditation retreat in oxford and waiting for a place on that but would like something a bit more physically challenging also

It was great. If you are after a mental challenge, fit camp is still the way to go. If your putting in the effort you should be pushing yourself to the limit. Controlling myself to keep positive and to carry on was the hardest thing I did.

The physical side is always achievable once you learn to control your mind. Afterall, your mind controls your body of course. So as long as you put in the effort and push and push and push, you will be alot better of a person by the end of the week.

I feel so much better. Ive been eating the perfect diet for about 9 days now, and my mind feels sharper, clearer. It sounds like Im living in a dream world, but it is scientific fact. Before on my normal diet, I wasnt getting the right vitamins, minerals and nutrients ect. Bascically Ive been putting diesel in my petrol car. After learning about what effects useless foods have had on my body, i was amazed that I was able to get out of bed. Thank god we have resourcful bodies ;)

I reccomend finding a fit farm that has proper nutrition diet, and some lessons from a uni graduated nutritionist, or just a fit farm and then personally see a nutritionist.

Worth any money you pay. Seriously.
