im up for setting another website up with just a discussion board and party page only ..............only techno though ,free parties been the main thing and any clubs that are playing techno no matter what size the club is, i have been to some quality little techno nights recently that could do with a little bit of promotion to keep them going.
im based in manchester/liverpool derbyshire areas so when i said north i was refering to
manchester

sheffeild
leed
york
liverpool
cheshire
birmingham
them general areas mainly around north west
i dont want loads of folk invovled, as its gets to sketchy, i want someone who has a fair bit of website knowledge and someone who knows about free parties and the laws around it, im fairly clued up on the second part, but website skills im not

i might restart an old website that dealt with all of this just have to rechange the name slightly
and kick it back into life as it was an on going free party site for 5yrs in the above named areas

yeah but i want to set up a techno free party website as no one really does , theres so little info out there for techno heads in the north and thats what im going to concetrate on ..................
ill let most parties get mentioned if there free, but any clubs wanting to put fliers up or if members place flyer's for paying events . unless there techno nights its not happing, i know that might sound harsh, but its techno i belive in as far as dance music is,

Personallly id like to have a northern PV although Tbh PV isnt just for southerners and does have a fair few norhtereners on it. The good thing about the NTA website was altough it started off obviously being affiliated with one single rig in the last year it was pretty much a message and conatct board for everybody up north, which was handy for more than just finding out about free parties. Shame its gone.

i asked about that as people were bitching and to be fair this is the reasanoble response i got (not from anyone asossiated with NTA btw).

"I'd forgotten that some people donated cash to keep the hosting going. I don't think that comes with a guarantee of any future service tho tbh. Gordie sorted out new hosting and transferred everything onto a new board. My (very reasonable) professional rates are £30/hr and I reckon he must have spent at least 3 or 4 hours sorting that all out. Unless they contributed more than £60 each I don't think they've got any moral recourse".

There is also the fact that he never asked for a penny for the first however many years the website was up and running.
