Can't see what the fuss is all about, looks like a perfectly decent proper English moustache to me, and in those days all blokes were encouraged to have one..

Hitler's moustache is a lot narrower than this chap and his (Masefields) hairstyle is better - (IMO the pic looks more like an English "dandy" ) - only ignorant fools would think that someone who was a Poet Laureate and wrote for the Manchester Guardian would have fascist sympathies... :you_crazy

OK I can see how someone with their "beer goggles" on could make the mistake but I don't see it as a reason to take down the sign...

they shouldnt have to take the sign down... but i would , if peole think your sign looks like hitler there not going to drink in your pub its jsut good business sense, or give him brown hair or somthing
