Hello, anyone know where I can get some of those rounded posts that kids play equipment is made out of?

I've had a search and not come up with much.

I'm in the North East, but Notts would be good also. Thanks, D.

Try farming fencing contractors and suppliers :wink:

I think what you are talking about is what is referred to as strainers posts [about 4" diameter?] and they come in 6-8 ft lengths...

Is it actually for a childs play area? If not, and health and safety isn't a major issue, try local farms. They have tons of that sorta fence-post style wood around...

Yes it is for a fort/slide/swing.

I'm planning to get my kids one, but they cost a fortune and if I can get the right materials, the building of it is a doddle.

I'll have a look down the farm supplies route.

also got bout 2 ton of scrap iron a washing machine stone flags 2 ton building stone a mk2 golf rolls of cable.

come help ur self it all needs shifting :weee:

Was about 300ft of aluminium 2 core pilon cable but i weighed it in on friday only got £70 for it.
I've got another roll of it though.
