Does anyone else get that sound on their computers that sounds like a mouse button clicking?

At the moment its making that noise but continously like gabba

What is it?

try disconnecting the speakers from the soundcard (or muting all the sound if it is a laptop). Do you still hear the noise?

If the souncard is picking it up it could be interference from something? [move any electrical devices around it and see if that helps....]

add a lighting rig, or alternatively get down on all fours, then just listen next to ur comp, maybe take the case off(but be careful not to touch), could be ur fan if its a wiring sounds, and to much dust

the sound is definately coming through the speakers not from the computer drives....

Also Winamp crashes alot and the music starts skipping, could this be the soundcard?

I encountered a similar situation on a PC a while back which was cured by reinstalling the soundcard drivers, using the latest version..

My PC used to come out with weird phrases from time to time. Stuff like "Yeah pick that up" and "Ummm nice arse" Only happened when my webcam was on. I suspect it was Dave.

Check the cable that attaches soundcard to the speakers. It could be sound card as well.
