The U.S. Supreme Court's ruling last week that outlawed a certain abortion procedure could be a first step of greater government intrusion into private medical decisions, doctors said on Monday.

The ruling will also almost certainly intimidate doctors who provide any type of abortion services, according to a series of commentaries in the New England Journal of Medicine.

That is chilling, especially when you understand why these specific tyes of abortion are peformed.

Abortion is an emotive subject and not easy for anyone but the mental and physical well being of the woman concerned should be the priority - in my opinion.

No abortions are not nice, i have sat with someone through one (not me getting her preg) as a bit of emotional support. Its not something taken lightly if the person has a reason to go through one it should be their choice.
