There are hermaphrodites born every now and then. I think their gender can be legally defined by how they urinate.

my friends cousin is thrid gender

it's not all that uncommon and becoming more common, due to hormones from cattle feed (to make cows fatter for market) entering the water table and from there back into the food chain... numbers of hermaphrodite fish are increasing quite a lot :crazy:

As for oestrogen, it might be a female being masculine as opposed to a male being feminine? Or it may just be something natural, instead of pathological or whatever the word is. This is a pre-industrialisation phenomenon ...
