SJ has momentary glitches, same with myspace, DSI, we also get the odd patch of slow access here as well (although its monitored and often dealt with by lots of very brainy people (some of whom are unsung heroes who are in far-away countries) before too many people notice....

all websites, servers and telecoms infrastructure needs regular maintenance - things can always break down, there is no such thing as 100% uptime

most people who run sites do everything they can to keep them going but with the exception of DSI all party websites are run on a non-commercial basis, those who look after them have other lives as well, particularly at weekends :laugh_at:

web social networks are fun but if you really need to communicate with someone desperately, especially as the weekend approaches, make sure you also exchange phone numbers and/or MSN/IM codes... even text messages can be delayed....
