An estimated 20 million Britons :weee: had an orgasm in the past 24 hours, according to a survey.
Londoners were the most likely to have reached a sexual high, with The Sun saying that 35% claimed to have had an orgasm in the day before they were surveyed.:groucho:
Scots came second at 34%, followed by lovers in the South West at 33%. :weee:
The biggest anti-climax was in Northern Ireland at 14%. Only 5% of people in the province claim they regularly orgasm, the paper said.
Around 1,300 adults were quizzed for the 'Orgasmap' of Britain in a poll for downloads website 'audible'.
About 2% said they had never had an orgasm while 10% admitted not getting sexual satisfaction for a year.:cry:
The poll, conducted to promote for World Aids Day, revealed almost
half of Britons did not know that diseases chlamydia, thrush and gonorrhoea were transmitted through unprotected sex.:rant::hopeless::omg:
One in 10 under-25s reportedly carry chlamydia, which can cause infertility.
Sex therapist Emily Dubberley told the paper: "As a nation we are enjoying sex more than ever.:groucho: But what is distressing is the lack of knowledge about sexually transmitted diseases.":you_crazy
