You definetly have to go to Barney's coffee shop.... Is brilliant and the Barney's breakfasts are to die for!!!!

hit the bulldog, although there are a few of these and also barneys have a cafe and a nice brekfast bar next door! If you go to the cannabis collage down the red light district ask for a demo with the hooker pipe and if your lucky you and your mates can get a go:wink:

We went in October and found the smaller coffee shops cheaper and friendlier thatn the big ones on the main shopping street, there are some cool ones around the red light district, I'll dig out the beer mats we brought back and post names later!

i haven't been to the dam for a few years, but i found some of the old-style 'brown bars' also quietly sold good quality herb and were more fun than the tourist traps

sadly i heard that the dealer at 'the old amsterdam' died a few years ago and the place has shut down since

if hotel brian on Singel is still open, it's a great place to stay, with decks in the reception room and a 'sorted' management
