Parties in the Cornwall area?

Hiya guys, I've been an ocasional lurker on the forums for a while now and I figured it might be time to actually show my face to the community you've got going here, so hey!

Me and a bunch of friends are going to head down to the St. Ives area of Cornwall for some outdoor fun (or more likely cold wet camping on the dunes and running away from angry ramblers of a morning), and I was wondering if anybody new of any events going down the next week 11/8 - 18/8, if you know of anything, could you PM me or drop me a mail at flyingnoodle@gmail.com?

Hey guys, thanks for all the welcomes!
If anyone does happen to be about in the Godrevy / Gwyvian area of Cornwall and fancies a bit of a barbecue and fire type thing come search us out - we'll likely be loitering on the beach of an evening, or hanging around in the old bunkers scattered about the dunes.

Also, a few bands may be amongst our number, and we have a few gigs in the pipeline - its at the make or break point at the moment but I'll try to drop a note if we manage to organise them (the only confirmed date so far is 14/8 in Truro, but if no-one else confirms that'll be cancelled)... Additionally the may be some scope for some drunken gig fun on the dunes if we can get our hands on some form of generator ;)

I'm heading back down to southwest/cornwall for the next few weeks to do a spot of camping in dartmoor with some mates.. Don't expect any party info (although I wouldn't say no) but wondering if anyone knows of any good spots in the south west to camp on the sly?

Ah alas it would seem that the gigs are cancelled due to lack of venues / complete inability to organise enough cars to carry equipment down... Ah well...
