Cheers guys

Yeah they move indoors although lots are indoor in the summer too, i always go down to london in the winter, cant imagine going to a rave in the freezing cold now seems like such a bad idea

Just cos they move indoors it doesn't mean it still aint bloody cold.

I went to this wearhouse party last winter and they had this big missle shaped heater, blowing out a big jet cone type thing.

i like them better outside but always end up looking like the michelin man:groucho: with the same lack of flexibilty:weee:

Hmm can't imagin partyin outside in a cold, wet and muddy place. I've been to one factory party a couple years ago before I got into free partys, just couldn't imagin many of them goin on ... cos how many empty factorys exist?

Another thing , generally if it rains do they get called off ?

there were loads all round the country but unfortunately chavs would smash up the buildings (this is fucking annoying as you can get more than one rave out of a good venue)

and some crews made questionable venue choices (such as newish buildings between lets and buildings near residential areas) - this has led to more potential venues either being guarded better or (if derelict) knocked down very quickly.

Another thing , generally if it rains do they get called off ?

only if it is serious rain making it clearly unsafe to put on the event (such as vehicles being stuck and/or electric hazards from rain)

the best totally free parties i've been were gloomy, muddy and cold places:winter forests of south of France, frozen warehouses, abondoned castles in the alps and so...A kind of place where if you ain't got friends, you wouldn't survive...

Was a little bit HARDCORE,but with apropriate jacket,no clubber and no sucker around, and that's the best reward you can imagine!!!

49 kisses,dudes.

yep - not only does the sound not escape so much, crews often have access to better quality power supplies rather than generator sets being run to (or beyond) their max output, so the rigs handle peaks in sound better..
