What are your feelings about this site?

We've been through a lot of changes over the last few years, so I'd like to know how you feel about where we are now, how we've got here and where we go from here (eg: likes, dislikes, niggles. Also specific issues with for example: browser compatibility, downtime, forum layout, software choices, load times, content, section topics, staff attitude, etc, etc...)? Anyway rather spewing venon or gushing praise please be objective with our answers if you can...

i think this site works really well, looks good (boom) and slightly diffrent to every other forum, not too slow, no real trolls or close minded idiots (like sj), its a friendly place where u can express your self an not have the piss ripped out of you for the smallest thing

I find the site easy to use, staff helpful and not offputting to approach if needed,
other users and staff friendly and welcoming (again compaired to some clique's observed on other forums)
helpful and useful knowledge shared and good 'chat' threads, excellent humour, and not too paranoid about new comers, accusing them of being O.B (S.J)
only concern is the pop up mushroom and Khat (etc) ad's when using at work but then I really should be working and not surfing the net!!! :groucho: so thats not the site's problem :wink:

Right we now have a work safe version of the site (http://www.partyvibe.com/vbulletin/index.php?styleid=45) with no embarasing banners or navbar with problem keywords. It's dead quick too so it's going to be faster than the rest and it'll work well with a PDA too.

I know some people had a hard time getting eMULE to work and I'm sorry because at the time there was no other option. Having said that I'm really pleased with what we're using now and we won't be leaving it anytime soon if I can help it...
