ask her straight out if she is interested in you; [beating around the bush will allow for misinterpretation and errors in the process]

if she is please make sure the other guy is out of the picture first otherwise everybody will end up getting hurt and their heads messed up which wont help anyone in the long run [been there done that]

if she is not move on and find a new love interest; dont hang around hoping she will change her mind

I am a great believer in straight talking in these situations however awkward you may find it to start with; i find it saves a lot of angst, everyone nows where they stand and you get better at straight talking with practise [i did]

Right new update. Just got a txt off her saying. "Did you mean what you sed last night". Only problem i got no credit and my house fone aint working so i cant get hold of her.:get_you:

But in response to rajuspect- yeh i didnt beat bout the bush i just went straight in there and sed how i felt, i think she felt the same way but just felt uncomfortable about the situation this creates for her, e.g. pissed off bf and me waiting for an answer. But i will let you know how it goes when i get hold of her.
