I wonder what women do when they decide they dont want theirs anymore and i would really like to know because i dont want to shave my hair off :cry:

Do you think maybe i could cut them half off and detangle the rest?

i know a guy who is removing his dreads - he is doing it gradually - snipping off the long ones etc and blending the others in - not sure of the technical details. He looked better with the full dreads. I love dreads but not the smell!!! Good luck (in 10 years obviously)

Ha ha i could either wear a hat for the rest of my life or until my hair sorts it self out but i did some searching around which i probably should have done before hand :surprised least everyone can know my find though...

Knottyboy actually has a dreads removing kit which looks intresting, but i also read that the length you cut them at depends on your own length and its all about cutting them so there are no knots underneath so you can detangle it easier.

I really shoulda used that brain i have and THOUGHT about it a bit more
