Party Manchester Last Night

Went to a free party for the first time in god maybe 7 years as a punter (without taking a rig). And found it quite boring there was no silliness apart from me and my mates. I watched a guy who had taken far to much k or something drawn on and kicked, beaten n spat on by his mates. There was scallys with pure attitudes walking around masked up. Granted it was a D&B party but it was just dreary.
Was good to shake hands n meet a few people and as I was sober I managed a few sencible conversations and seen some people I aint seen in ages but I left after 2 hrs.

The lad was half cast as well n the cunts were drawing swastikas n nf on his face then punching him.
I just chilled out for abit drank my 2 bottles of wkd then as my mates were all sniffin k me n my mate went home.

My mate was kickin off with people that were blatently pissing against walls in the squated pub, n was gona start on a guy i've shouted down about on here b4 so we went.

Someone at the party said "why do you do your partys in the middle of no where?" I think I rest my case on that one. I suppose its each to there own n I'm a hippy underneinth the chav exteriour.

Fuck that bollocks. Thats well out of order. Yeah thats why parties are best in the middle of nowhere... Cant believe how much of a twat people can be. Defeats the whole object of free parties. At least defeats the object of the way I saw parties are meant to be about. ok that doesnt make much sensem but you know what I mean. Sundays and all that lol.

the manchester crews seem to enjoy what they do but its not my cup of tea. i went coz i was in the area but i wouldnt go out of my way for one.

in EA people may draw on their mates if they are sparko due to K but they certainly don't spit on them and beat them up (but I've seen people manage to get in a fight with themselves on K - and lose! )

OK some rum stuff happens at warehouse parties in London and other cities so I'm hardly surprised it happens in Manchester but I've also been to some in SE England have a fairly good atmosphere (and they were even playing DnB) but shit happens sometimes and it isn't just the music though (there is beef even at events playing techno or hardstyle)

Even if there aren't violent incidents people pissing everywhere/smashing up stuff is now a major problem as is rubbish being left behind.

This has got to the point that every "disused" pub/warehouse down south is proper locked down because the owners know if its raved the damage will cost thousands

no squatter will live in these places as their living area will get trashed or the feds will nick them for the damage (happened to several mates of mine)

Incidentally if the scene gets known for bad shit in the cities, the cops there also warn all the surrounding rural constabularies. This is what's happened here in Suffolk/Essex, the Met now advise those forces on "how to deal with the menace of raves" (including even clamping down on licensed events!)

To tell you the truth me n Keith from Desert Storm started on a guy for pissing in a squat n that was over 10 years ag n it kicked off outside so its not a sign of the times, its just disrespect on the behalf of some party goers.
I think its a inner city party thing. To go to a rural party you realy have to want to go to the party and make an effort so you loose most of the knob heads that will fuck things up.

when theres an after party for a big club night (i.e. 800+) and theres an after party at a squat or house, there is hired security on the doors, and in my experience theyre usually big enough to deal with anythin!

tbh drivin after 10 hours of mashin it up in a club, plenty of drugs and booze... i was pretty grateful it was in the city!

It wasnt to bad I'm nit picking at peoples behaviour. It just wasnt my cup of tea music wise and I'm more into putting partys on & being at partys in rural areas.

Also that guy we was chattin about had is rig there.

its 100% confirmed now btw. theres going to be some kind of protest organised by a burnley/todmordon crew to keep it violence free. i've been asked to stay away due to my short fuse.

my dad grew up in todd its a miserable place when i used to go there when i was lil i used to think in was like going back in time all grey and drery, went back there when i found my dad recently still the same pmsl
