Hey guys! My mate is well up for goin to global gathering end of jul, anyone else goin/ been before??

cool!! As you may have noticed i live in brighton, are you going for the whole weekend as my mate is just goin for saturday, i'm well up for it, its just the money. We should def meet up if we both go though

if i go im definately going 4 the whole weekend, if ur mate is just going 4 sat ur welcome to come with us if u wanna go 4 the whole weekend. the only problem is we're all short on cash, id definately spend the money but im not going up on my own-so its just a matter of persuading them!

what dates are global gathering? I think it clashes with the ambient picnic and I'm supposed to be helping out there...

global gathering was 1 of the worst festivals i have been too there was nothing there but mean fiddler bullying every 1 and high prices and the way out is a mission too.

The 1 thing i dont understans is the accelerated culture areana has not got a licence to stay open 24 hours and all the others have

quite simply....

mean fiddles being leaned on by the old bill and giving in (the cops have ultimate power over legal festivals; its they who say yay or nay to the license).

if its the dance tent its probably because it would be the loudest and that would be the one the local yokels whinge about (you should see the hassle Glade is getting in the local rags because there were more noise complaints )

its sad (as I like d&B and I know a girl who is going there who will be well disappointed when she finds this out....)

but after that commercial event in Spain where the hotel rooms all got smashed probably not surprising...

with the EU police (Europol), any problems which happen at "music festivals" (which are classed as potential flashpoints for violence) anywhere in the EU get circulated to 25 nations police forces and governments..

thats a very good point

i havent been to a music festival since 2002 after i went to homelands which was the worst night i have ever had and global gathering which was just a place for mean fiddler to laugh put of loads of people trying to have a good time with there mean tactics and high prices too

i was tempted to go to glade but as i said i think i got totally put off music festivals after these 2 events.
