I did think that because it's in Essex it could be more of a problem. May be worth a try.

contacts and ideas

yer i do kinda agree with you, its not going to be easy to persuade the essex police but if we can get the right backing and organisation together then this can work. i was speaking to a friend today who has just been on lisecening course and he said he will help me with the tens apllication. apparently i need to send two copies off. one to the council and one to the police. i think the police have the biggest say. i will let you all know when we have got the tens application underway. thats the first herdal and probly the biggest. then once we have got that we can start to get a team together to organise the event. my idea is that the evrnt will start on a late friday afternoon, go on till the eving then start up again early on sat morning which will then go on till late sat evening, or we could just make it one day. im not entirley sure how late the music can stay on for. hopefully it can stay on till early hours of the morning. obvioulsy there will be camping allowed. what are your thoughts on that idea. if any of you have got any toher ideas about the evnt please let me know. i have also thought about the music. i agree with binge idea, that we should have a main satge with a variety of music to attract all ages, then a dance tent with diffrent types, such as hardcore, old skool, phytrance, trance etc, and a chill out tent with reggae and some jungle.

This picture shows 20 acres divided equally into two 10 acre rectangles.

The house marked on the plan is a big American farmhouse.

The smaller buildings on the site are equivalent in size to a normal British suburban house.

(NB: this photo is in Florida, not Essex).

although I don't think there was anything sinister about the post, I think the lad must have abandoned the idea on realising the effort involved and perhaps encountering opposition from locals/neighbours
