Problems with IE8 / Smart Screen / Active Scripting

Lately some of our members have been having trouble with Internet Explorer’s Smart Screen Filter (SSF) stopping pages on our website from loading correctly below the top of the page. Disabling SSF doesn't fix the problem but turning off Active Scripting (below) is something of a workaround although pages are no longer dynamic alternatively using another (better!) browser such as Firefox or Google Chrome works...

Firefox: Firefox web browser
Chrome: Google Chrome

If you know anyone with this problem, please pass it on!

How to disable Active Scripting in Internet Explorer:

You may wish to disable Active Scripting within Internet Explorer for security purposes. This tutorial explains how it's done.

1.Open your Internet Explorer browser.
2.Click on Tools in your IE menu, located at the top of your browser window.
3.A drop-down menu will now appear. Choose the option labeled Internet Options....
4.The Internet Options dialog will now appear, overlaying your browser window. Click on the tab labeled Security.
5.In the 'Web content zone' section, click on the option labeled Internet.
6.In the 'Security level for this zone' section, click on the button labeled Custom Level....
7.Security Settings will appear. Scroll to 'Scripting' section. Under the 'Active Scripting' header, select the radio button 'Disable'.
8.Click on the button labeled OK.
9.A warning message will appear 'Are you sure you want to change the security settings for this zone?' Click on the Yes button.
10.You will now be returned to the Internet Options dialog. Click on the button labeled OK.
11.Restart your Internet Explorer browser.

IE is for loosers ... imo if you use it you don't deserve to be able to get online
