although my family weren't quite as rich I once went to private school (many years ago now) and theres no way I'd invite any of them muppets there to my house, they are worse scum than "chavs" IMO as they are really vindictive and often racist..

A wealthy couple face a hefty repair bill for their £1 million home after their son advertised a party on Facebook.
More than 100 youths descended on Raj and Nishi Shukla’s gated property in Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey, when they left their son, Aneesh, 16, a sixth form pupil at a £21,000-a-year school, on his own at home last weekend.
The gatecrashers reportedly smashed chandeliers, vandalised cars, urinated out of a window and tore up decking as Aneesh tried to contain the chaos.

my family never have been rich enough to own a gated house, and if I were in the habit of attending 16 year old teens' parties CEOP would have closed down Partyvibe by now!

Sadly I think this is a very common problem for those of sixth form age... actually me and my mates did gatecrash goths' parties because we were casuals then and they didn't invite us but we were never that bad (bloody hell, that was 20 years ago!)

iv never understood some peoples need to vandalise shit at parties.....its the same with squat parties....the places get trashed and then people wonder why the police are pricks to us.

our group doesnt gatecrash since the ones were not invited to are the shit ones id rather be outside with the boombox & a BBQ!

we used to just create mischief like shutting off the leccy in the house

never would vandalise houses though, and in the end it all ended happily as the goths realised we weren't bad people and invited us anyway, just before the rave scene started and then everyone partied together

actually out of my mates in this area of my age group a lot of them are goths..

I was gonna say I actually liked "cities in dust" but that was Siouxee and the Banshees, not Sisters of Mercy.

hm... i was at a Rammstein gig in london on thursday @ wembley arena or w/e it is... many goths... one 'girl' in a surgical mask with a big R on her head

ohh, remember a few 'posh' parties exactly like this when younger and although we 'gate crashed' never would do anything like this - and yes also talking about about 17 yr ago -
remember haveing a meat clever held to my neck at one particularily posh one - but still got in

but heard stories of toilets being removed, radiators and stereo equipment being taken and left in the (raining) garden etc
