Possession or Intent to Supply?

Hiya,

If i got caught in possesion of E, how many would take it from possesion to intent to supply???

hard to tell, but you must never incriminate yourself by saying "you got them for friends" because that is supply. that said strength is lower so 10 or 20 might still eb classed as personal. certainly 5 or 6 is these days in the Suffolk Constabulary area.

since 2006 the laws was changed and there is a "presumption of intent to supply where a defendant is found to be in possession of a certain quantity of controlled drugs." - but neither the Home Office nor the cops have given a transparent description of what this quantity is (even harsher countries like Malaysia do) - so I think its left entirely up to the discretion of the cops with the suspect having to use his or her own defence resources to argue otherwise..

unfortunately circumstances and circumstantial evidence now seem to play a big factor - I would expect if someone our age is busted with 50 or so pills and we have a lot of younger friends / associates in their teens and 20s it would almost invariably be suspected we were dealing :(

If you tell me what pills they were, i could tell you now if they (the pills) were real or not. I have knowledge on the subject so PM me.

Had a pal who got caught with 300 and only got done with posession - said it was the result of a serious e habit... They actually have to prove intent to supply - there is no "they are carrying x amount so they must be supplying" quantity - the more you get caught with the easier it will be to prove intent obviously (when they are asking who the other 4000 were for you're probably fooked), but there is no set limit...
