as all the junk food of London makes the pigeons hyperactive, and they start doing acrobatics and jumping over the rats
![]() I don't see what the problem is though, you could set up a Tesco value circus and keep the kids entertained ![]() ![]() --- Seriantia que quondam fuit Rollandi le Pettour in Hemingeston in comitatu Suff’, pro qua debuit facere die Natali Domini singulis annis coram domino rege unum saltum et sifflettum et unum bumbulum. 15 cans of Adnams.. ![]() |

if I lived there I'd call the council and complain it was species discrimination, rats are animals too...I saw a film about sewer rats and they were really well organised, the male and female both share the duties of raising the offspring, better than many human familes!
I actually saluted a big fat rat I saw running in the gutter in Portman Road - I though as people salute magpies here for luck, why not salute a rat? ![]() |

i saw a woman/man near portman road.. about 60, disgustingly hideous and quite large, in like.. mini hotpants and a far too low cut top with no bra. it was - fucking hideous! i was leaning over one of the big plant pot things outside one of the offices half gagging my guts out and half pissing myself as my mate was on the phone to his girlfriend and dropped his phone in disbelief as we walked past 'it'
![]() so the moral of this story is: avoid portman road - guys saluting rats with honor, and hideous drags! |

To be fair the rat (an impressive very healthy specimen with sleek fur) was one of the most dignified things I had seen in that part of town. and unlike the badger it did not nearly cause a collision.
other than geriatric hookers (or maybe CID on undercover business) its a good place for urban wildlife, seen several foxes and even a cat what waited at the foot of the bobby robson statue for a bit (like a story I read of a yappy dog what would visit his masters grave) perhaps his family are all ITFC supporters ![]() Last edited by General Lighting; 31-10-2009 at 04:20 PM.. |

nah, but I nearly crashed into it 20mph... ran straight out into my path on a unlit country rode (this is why there are 3 independent sets of lights on my bike!). It was a massive badger too, about the size of a bull terrier...

![]() --- "we all have problems, it's how we deal with them that defines who we are!" "People must begin to help one and other - we must begin to care!" "You're scared of mice and spiders, but oh-so-much greater is your fear that one day the two species will cross-breed to form an all-powerful race of mice-spiders who will immobilize human beings in giant webs in order to steal cheese" Messing around with all theese chemical rushes .. when natural highs come a whole lot cheeper! |
