Welcome to partyvibe........

This is a board for those who like very loud electronic dance music, the users here are prepared to go to some lengths to listen to it with their friends including "outlaw" activities such as playing it in fields and disused warehouses. Our community also has very liberal attitudes to certain aspects of life such as the use of recreational drugs, although it is a friendly board and we respect those who do not want to take drugs or have more conventional views about land use, provided of course they are not constantly whinging and/or forwarding data from this board to the Police!

Looking at your profile, its possible you may have expected a community a little less extreme than hours - and a lot of other vbulletin boards use the same software and look similar to hours so no problem if you made a mistake and expected to find a different bulletin board.

OTOH you may be well into rave music, I know people of your age who are and regularly attend events with their families, if thats the case fair play to you!

I see you mention cars as one of your interests, if you attend modified car rallies or events you may have heard rave music there (mainly hardstyle and happy hardcore) so you can learn about it here, or track down tunes you like...

There's a lot of other ravers from the North on this board as well..

I wish I can asnwer that for you but when I left Tokyo I was too young to go out raving (I was only 9 years old).

I've been back to Tokyo since then and went to 1 or 2 clubs. I have to say that club itself is wicked in Tokyo. Especially a club called "Ageha", check out their website which is www.ageha.com They've got swimming pool there and a wicked sound and lighting. Think of it as The Sanctuary (RIP) but for this centry.

I still got some mates over there so if I hear anything else I'll let you guys know.

new to this forum thing, always just used partyvibe to pull up sound system numbers!

I'm in Essex, the kiss me quick hat end of it shamefully ( Saafend) and just looking for folk to go dancing with, spent lots of time in superclubs getting jostled by arseholes on stella and had enough, have a few squat partys under my belt and for all the downtrodden scummy appearences have bumped into some wicked wicked wicked folks!

yeah so looking for anyone in the south east that fancies pulling missions in a 1 litre beat up ford with a j and a handful of class A to go dance in far away places in suitable shoes! Drop me a mail at hardluckproductions@hotmail.com

I've got relatives in Essex and have been there a few times but not found much of a party scene there, it seems to be mostly townie clubs as you mentioned....

unfortunately you won't find as many sound system numbers now for reasons mentioned here

There are alot of townie clubs here, well not clubs, clubs to me are a place to go smile, listen to whats in the DJ's box, dance ones arse off and talk nonsense to like minded people whereas the townie club is just another place to get more drunk after the pub throws you out with some music in the background, nothing too challenging.

Thats the beauty of free parties, everyone has pulled a bit of a mission as they are rarely on your doorstep so everyone wants to get there, have fun, meet people and get their moneys worth after spending three hours coasting around little country B roads looking for a petrol station and that " second left past the narrow bridge after the disused barn two miles from the crossroads of the B18537and so forth!

so what does everyone have planned for tonight? Anything rock n roll happening?

aye... I always have felt that only derelict (but not dangerous) buildings or public / obviously abandoned land should be used for these events - but a time came when there were so many rigs and parties people were rinsing the same areas over and over, and worse still actively breaking into buildings to hold events, which is burglary rather than squatting...

the way I look at it free/squat parties should not cause major problems to other people; and it is up to the organisers to ensure this is so (and they are less likely to get busted that way!)
