Hi Danny,
I will preffer rock music. Some good dance songs by Michel jackson, Venga boys and other bands are not bad. I must tell you that song must be rocking and suit the mood. Type of song, Its singer or band hardly matters.

"music" includes sounds wholly or predominantly characterized by the emission of a succession of repetitive beats.

I'd like to see more (spiral) techno or psytrance around manchester, always seems to be drum & bass, not that there's anything wrong with that drum & bass is great, but i really like the first two.

there is some psytrance about - try looking up strangedaze or sunrise

for psytrance free parties you may have to go a bit further, but try looking for psytrance forums online - there is a lively scene
