For big events - walking boots or wellies. Invaluable for sludge battling.

CD's or tapes to listen to in the car when you need to chill out away from the main group. Also to listen to on the journey there & back.

I used to take homemade jewelry & such to sell. Like beads & bracelets. Gives me a little bit extra cash to spend and its a good convosation starter.

TBH you could get away with that for a forest party which is only gonna last a night and the daytime, although I've got friends (particularly the ladies) who seem to pack bags and bags of supplies as if they are going away for a month

Aye but I betcha you've benefitted from the 'emergency rations' set up.

I used to do it in the-clothes-i stand-up-in, an a blanket for fesis, but became more 'civilised' as the years progressed.

TBH its swings and roundabouts don't u think? the wild free madness of the early daze had its moments as did the 'oh god a cuppa tea!' times

I've just started to take a toothbrush and toothpaste with a bottle of wter. Nice and refeshing to brush your teeth the morning after. I am a health freak and i hate having a dirty mouth though.

Failing that, a bottle of mouth wash is always nice. Prevents the risk of mouth alcers and such if i've had a mad one.
