Yeah that was one of his pseudonym's and yeah class track - but Energy Flash is the one for me - just so dark and haunting and down right evil, and well ahead of its time imo - one of the defining moments in the development of the European Hard Techno sound when it came over here - and as thats one of my fave styles of dance music it deserves a big up imo for its significance within its genre.

Another couple for the mix -

- Lenny Dee - 'Mescalinium United'

- and not sure the name but its by Spiral Tribe and has the sample - 'I am a savage and I do not understand, how the beauty of the earth can be sold back to man' - anyone who can name this track for me would be much appreciated - even better if they know where I can get hold of a copy!

Dunno, but that's a really nice lyric!!!

Mescalinium United is a wicked tune, especially when in the middle everything suddenly cuts out and it's just the tech bass and the bassdrum on their own.

Perfect Masters - "Crazy Dreams Pt. 1" (1992)

You can hear it streaming off the www.hardcorewillneverdie.com website by pasting the following URL into your RealPlayer or by simply going to the website and searching for "Perfect Masters".

http://hardcorewillneverdie2.com/arc...992/canary.ram

I was at a nigtclub in the mid-90s and l was pilled up and l heard a tune like this or maybe it was this tune, but the DJ kept bringing it and out of the mix and it had a profound effect on me, there was this guy at the bar and he was like the tune personified or something!

I didn't realise "Inssomniak" was around in 1990, l thought all the mixes were 1991, but anyway it was a Swedish group called "DJPC".

Here's the mental rave version (Lagoa Extreme Mix?) of DJPC - "Inssomniak" (1991):

http://hardcorewillneverdie2.com/archive/1991/djpc.ram

There's another version, think it's the same tune, that goes "Inssomniak - i'll be back"

Anyway, has anyone noticed how the technobass scratch at the very start of the song is EXACTLY like the vinyl scratching on Herbie Hancock's "Rockitt" (from the very early 80s)? Except they used a different sound on Inssomniak. So how did they get the riff just right, but use a different instrument? Careful hands on the pitchbend wheel l suppose.
