Evolution do a good bunch of midi controllers too - used to have a mk249 many moons ago (I use mostly hardware synths etc these days)... It had pressure sensitive keys, and a bunch of pots etc (Reason is really easy to set up with most MIDI devices, cos it has a MIDI learn feature which works really well, so you don't need to worry too much about that)...
Akai do a set of drum pads (MPD something or other) that mimic the functions of the MPC series, and have a bunch of other controls as well - not sure how much they cost though (I have an MPC4000 though, and can heartily recommend the drum pads as a superb way of control for drums and samples)... |
