★Altern 8★
Oldskool Hardcore duo act from Stafford crashed the rave-hungry UK charts in 1991 with "Infiltrate 202" and "Activ8 (Come With Me)", the latter reaching number 3. Additional vinyl outings included the Overload EP (1990), "Frequency" (10,000 copies of which were on sale for a single day only), and another UK Top 10 hit, "Evapor 8". They were aided in their chart aspirations by the circulation of press stories concerning their alleged activities, which included promoting the decongestant Vicks Vapo Rub, which, it was claimed, heightened the effects of the Ecstasy drug; playing shows in a hot-air balloon and dispensing to the crowd Christmas cakes laced with Ecstasy; and standing as candidates for the 1993 General Election.
Seeing them live is also designed to be eye-catching performances, where they don RAF chemical warfare suits and dust-masks. Altern 8 still headlines the biggest raves throughout the world today.

★Remarc★
UK based jungle producer and DJ, Remarc is widely proclaimed to be "king of the Amen" and a pioneer of ragga jungle due to his chopped up tracks for legendary labels such as Dollar, White House, Kemet, labbello blanco and Suburban Base. The majority of these tunes were compiled alongside previously unreleased dubplates for a two volume retrospective released by Planet Mu. The re-releases of these classics soon moved as many units if not more than a successful drum n bass release proving that Remarc and the Jungle sound is still an unstoppable force in the game. It has also introduced him to the world of other electronic music and a new generation of Junglists and amen mashers, ultimately steering him away from the "typical" drum n bass scene and building a dedicated 2nd fan base.
With tracks appearing on over 111 releases worldwide there is no questioning that if you have not heard of Remarc, its time to open your ears to the founding father of the amen sound. For those familiar with the legend He is still spinning Jungle (oldskool and new) worldwide and has become equally known for his dj sets of undiluted jungle and his arsenal of dubplate specials.

★Ed West★
Ed is a versatile drummer, dj and producer, who has had one hectic summer touring the UK and Ireland festival circuit with his reggae band ‘The Drop’ while squeezing in dj bookings and his day job at vinyl distribution company Load Media where he does A&R for dubstep labels, and looks after the digital distribution side of the company.
Ed dj’s reggae dancehall and hip hop under the name ‘Ed Ses’, and Jungle under ‘Flat Stan’ but his main focus in recent years has been on dubstep . Ed started making his mark on the dubstep scene with tunes such as 'Lessons' a collaboration with New Zealand singer 'Jen-I', which was getting rinsed on Dubplate by React FM DJs such as 'Blakstarline'. Other DJs such as Sub FM's '3zee1' (now Eds label partner) also started playing his tunes.
He has now set up his second label, releasing vinyl records under the name 'Pesky Plates', which is born out of the Graffiti and Free Party crew 'THOSE PESKY KIDZ'. With their first release from 'Orien' already in the shops, the Pesky Crew are about to release their second release from 'Fused Forces'.
Ed continues to DJ all around England, and Europe and has been working on some new beats...
