Description and Information:

The Hinton Parva formation consists entirely of triangles and is found on high ground in a remote spot just inside Wiltshire. The field is fairly green wheat and is next to the Ridgeway at SU 241 878. The most interesting feature is that the triangles are at the crest of the field which slopes away on both sides. The view at the top is magnificent, The meaning of the design is profound. The triangles vary in size from about 10ft to 30ft with raised bunches of crop either 1,2 or 3 groupings depending on the size of the triangle. Geoff Ambler
